Well, we officially survived our first kids camp with lots of activities, fun and great learnings for all. We had 16 - 18 kids attend each day with a different theme for the day. Each morning we started and each afternoon we finished our day with a group circle to set the intent of our day or review the learnings for the day. We also did sun salution as soon as the grass would allow. Below are some highlights from the week:
Hope to see you all again next year. Don't forget to send us your comments about this year's camp or ideas for next year.

Sunday June 21st 2009
On Sunday June 21 we were blessed with a gorgeous first day of Summer for our second Annual Labyrinth Celebration. The unfortunate point is that it was also Father's Day so attendance was down from last year. In light of this we will hold our celebration on Saturday June 19 next year. Those that attended enjoyed a Drumming meditation with Rozanna Rousseau, Kirtan Chanting from Lalitadevi and Shuddhi, a Qi Qong demo by Jocelyn Brock, Crystal display with Judi Bechard, Kids crafts and games with Annie and Emily Stewart, Healthy Food by Kyle Corbin and the Happy Monks and many other holistic and craft displays. Check-out the pictures from the event!
On Saturday May 30th it was my pleasure to host Judi Bechard for the 'Crystal Clear Energy' workshop. We had 16 participants absorbing Judi's knowledge and experience to better understand their own energy and how to keep it balanced by leveraginge various techniques and crystals. The weather was a beautifil spring day which allowed us to get out and walk the labyrinth during our lunch break. Thank you Kyle Corbin for putting on a very healthy and nutritional lunch! Due to the success of this workshop I will hosting a repeat on Saturday September 19th. Judi and I are also in discussion to host her entire Crystal and Healing program series. Stay tuned for more info.

Wednesday April 22, we gathered to celebrate Earth Day 2009. Due to the rainy weather we were unable to have the celebration out in the Labyrinth so we brought an image of the Labyrinth into the sacred circle of the event. We started the evening with Rozanna Rousseau with a lovely Drum Meditation which called in all our elders and animal/spiritual guides from all 4 directions. We then had Lalitadevi, Anandaroopa, Gita and Shudhi lead various 'call & response' Kirtan Chants. There was definitely a rise in energy/consciousness throughout the evening. Check out the pictures and don't forget to look for the orbs. Thanks to everyone who came out and for making a donation to Sakura House, a local hospice.
